Manufacturing Opportunities Across Northeast Ohio

Tuesday, 3 May, 2022 Written by Rachel Trem

Intel, which is investing more than $20B in the construction of two new chip factories in Licking County, Ohio to boost production of advanced semiconductors, has already begun to create opportunities for the Ohio manufacturing community! Learn more about how you can become a supplier for the eight-plant facility at their newly updated website .

The U.S. Army’s AMNOW program, a testbed to develop and validate a prototype digital additive manufacturing supply chain for Army and its Department of Defense contractors, is looking for suppliers who can contribute to future projects. Engaging with AMNOW is a great opportunity to participate in this prototype supply chain, gain experience with the Army’s new digitally linked system and prepare your company to potentially serve as a defense supplier. Suppliers with advanced manufacturing capabilities including material extrusion, multi jet fusion, laser powder bed fusion, binder jetting and post processing, are encouraged to apply. Please reach out to Daniel Longo from Youngstown Business Incubator with questions or support.
